Privacy Policy
We collect as little as possible: our tools run in your browser, and the site currently uses no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.
Last updated 18 September 2026
This policy explains what information is collected when you use Baclivelef, how it is used and what choices you have. We have written it to describe what the site actually does today. If that changes, we will update this page before or at the time the change takes effect.
Summary
- Our tools run entirely in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to us.
- No analytics, tracking or advertising scripts are currently installed on Baclivelef.
- The site itself does not set cookies or store information in your browser.
- Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, which include IP addresses.
- If you contact us by email, we receive whatever you choose to send.
Who is responsible
Baclivelef is operated by the Baclivelef team. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@baclivelef.com or through our contact page, choosing “Privacy request” as the subject.
Information we do not collect
Tool inputs
Our calculators, generators and planners — for example the BPM tap calculator and our royalty and split calculators — perform their calculations using JavaScript in your own browser. The figures, names, song titles and other details you enter are not transmitted to our servers, not stored by us and not shared with anyone. When you close or reload the page, your inputs are discarded.
Accounts
Baclivelef does not offer user accounts, so we do not hold usernames, passwords or profiles.
Information that may be collected
Server logs
Like almost every website, Baclivelef is served by a hosting provider. When your browser requests a page, the provider’s servers typically record technical information such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, your browser type (user agent) and the referring page. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting and keeping the service running, and are usually retained for a limited period under the hosting provider’s own policies. We do not use them to build profiles of individual visitors.
Emails you send us
Our contact form does not send information to a server. When you submit it, your own email application opens with a message pre-filled, and nothing is sent until you choose to send that email. If you do, we receive what you send — typically your name, email address and message — along with standard email information. We use it only to respond to you and to deal with your request, such as a correction or music submission. We keep correspondence only as long as needed for that purpose or to keep a record of corrections and requests.
Newsletter
Our newsletter has not launched yet. The sign-up form on the site currently stores nothing and sends nothing; it simply tells you sign-ups are not yet open. If we launch a newsletter, we will update this policy to explain which provider we use, what we collect and how to unsubscribe.
Basic analytics
Baclivelef does not currently use any analytics service. We do not track which pages you visit or how you move around the site. If we add analytics in future, for example to understand which tools are most useful, we will update this policy first, prefer privacy-focused options that minimise personal data, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Cookies and browser storage
Baclivelef does not currently set any cookies, and it does not use local storage, session storage or similar technologies to store information on your device. If we ever use browser storage — for instance, to remember a tool setting you choose — we will disclose it here, explain what is stored and why, and obtain consent where required.
Your hosting provider or network may use strictly necessary technical measures to deliver the site securely; these do not identify you to us.
Advertising
Baclivelef does not currently show advertising. We may introduce advertising in future to help fund the site. If we add Google AdSense or a similar service, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. Before that happens, we will update this policy with details and, where required by law, provide a way for you to give or refuse consent. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Our advertising page explains the rules we will follow.
Third-party services
We currently do not embed third-party players, social media widgets, fonts or scripts that load from other companies’ servers. Our pages contain links to other websites, such as streaming services and official artist pages. When you follow a link, you leave Baclivelef, and the other site’s privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for how other sites handle your information.
Children
Baclivelef is a general-audience website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because our tools run in your browser and we do not offer accounts, we generally hold no personal information at all. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights over your personal information, including rights to access it, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict its use, and receive a copy. These rights may arise, where applicable, under:
- the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018 (United Kingdom);
- the General Data Protection Regulation (European Union and European Economic Area);
- the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023;
- the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) in South Africa;
- Ghana’s Data Protection Act 2012;
- the California Consumer Privacy Act and other US state privacy laws.
In practice, the only personal information we are likely to hold about you is correspondence you have sent us. To make a request, email hello@baclivelef.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We keep the information we handle to a minimum, which is the most effective protection. Correspondence is kept in a secured email account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.
International visitors
Baclivelef is used by people in many countries. Our hosting provider and email service may process data in countries other than your own. Where the law requires it, appropriate safeguards apply to such transfers.
Contact information
For questions about this policy or your personal information, email hello@baclivelef.com or use our contact page.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy whenever our practices change — for example, if we introduce analytics, advertising, a newsletter or a contact form server. The “last updated” date on this page shows when it was last revised. Where changes are significant, we will make them clear on the site.
