Da Agent is a rapper from Uganda who releases music on streaming services as Da Agent Official. On his official YouTube channel he gives his name as Ivan Wabwire, also calls himself Da Agent Akulukuta, and says his professional career began in 2016. The same channel describes a very fast rap style he calls “Lugaflo Lufula”. Lugaflow is the name used in Uganda for rap performed in Luganda.
His 2025 single “Baliwa” became one of the fastest-rising music searches in Uganda in our September 2026 research. Galaxy FM listed the song among the nominees for Best LugaFlow/Rap Song and Song of the Year at its Zzina Awards 2025–2026.
Career overview
The Da Agent Official profiles on Apple Music and Spotify start in September 2023 with the single “Ndeete Ndeete”. Since then he has released a steady run of singles, including “FFE BALI” (2023), “Tewepima Nange” (2024), “NGALO NGALO” and “One Day” (2025), and “Njukunju” (2026), which was followed by a remix featuring Mun G and Nutty Neithan. Most of these carry a TOKOPA FORCE copyright line. Several songs also have separate instrumental versions.
His earlier work sits on an older Apple Music profile under the name Da Agent. It includes the 2017 album Akadodi, which contains “Nkalabuka”, a song his YouTube channel names among his best-known tracks. Apple Music also credits him on a 2024 hip-hop cypher released by Eno HipHop alongside Ruyonga, Navio and others.
“Baliwa” came out on 16 August 2025, with an a cappella version a week later. In Galaxy FM’s Zzina Awards 2025–2026, Da Agent was also nominated for Best LugaFlow/Rap Artist, and his single “One Day” for Best Inspirational Song.
