Kolaboy is a rapper and singer-songwriter from Enugu State in south-east Nigeria. His official YouTube channel calls him a cultural activist who champions Igbo heritage, and says this is the foundation of his artistic identity.
“Oga Eme”, his October 2025 single with fellow rapper Evado, appeared in Google Trends searches in Nigeria in the year to September 2026.
According to his channel, Kolaboy first came to wide attention in 2018 with “They Didn’t Caught Me” featuring Harrysong. Apple Music lists that single in October 2018. His channel calls The Story Teller (2020) his debut EP, and names “Collect”, “Wire”, “Debit Alert”, “Omalicha” and “Ugomma” among his best-known songs.
In 2022 he released the five-track EP Kola from the East, which opens with “Normal Thing” featuring Flavour. The six-track Kolapiano EP followed in 2023. His channel describes it as a blend of Oja (a traditional Igbo flute) and amapiano, and it includes a remix of “Kolapiano Vol. 2 (Isakaba)” featuring Timaya.
Most of his releases since then are singles, many credited to Odia Records Limited. They include “Men” and “Grateful” (2024), “Secure the Bag” with Rudeboy and Acetune (2024), “Yes or No” and “Obago” with Duncan Mighty (2025), and “Oga Eme” with Evado (October 2025). In 2026 he has released “Time Shall Tell” with MOEC, “Onyedinma” with Jaydee Bombshell and “Don’t Judge Me” with Paddy K. He is also a frequent guest on other artists’ records, including Ugoccie’s “Do You Really Like Me” remix (2021).
His channel also carries performance videos from his “KFE Concert”, covering songs from across his catalogue.
Selected releases as listed on Apple Music and Spotify, checked September 2026. The Story Teller is called his debut EP on his YouTube channel; Apple Music lists it as an eight-track release.
Start with “Oga Eme”, the song people are searching for. His channel has a live performance of it. Then try the Kolapiano EP and Kola from the East, and go back to “They Didn’t Caught Me”, the 2018 single his channel says first brought him to wide attention.

Amapiano
