Who is behind it

Kolaboy’s official YouTube channel describes him as a singer-songwriter and rapper from Enugu State and a cultural activist who champions Igbo heritage. He has been releasing music since at least 2018, when his single “They Didn’t Caught Me” featuring Harrysong came out. His own releases include features from Flavour, Timaya and Duncan Mighty. You can read more on our Kolaboy artist page.

Evado’s releases on Apple Music go back to 2021, most of them filed under Hip-Hop/Rap. He is a frequent collaborator on other artists’ singles, and on 17 October 2025, eight days after “Oga Eme”, he released “ILU AGHA” with Phyno.

Kolaboy is not a newcomer, but we found no national editorial coverage of him or of this song. That is why we include him in this series.
