Who is behind it
Paul CleverLee’s official YouTube channel describes him as a music producer and remix engineer from Nigeria. His releases on Apple Music go back to 2018 and include many remixes and mashups as well as gospel singles. You can read more on our Paul CleverLee artist page.
Gerald Bishung is a gospel singer. On 8 May 2025 Vanguard reported on his re-release of his 2020 single “BABA”. That report said he founded Gerald Bishung Ministries, a non-profit that spreads the Gospel through music, and it named two of his other songs, “Jesus Plus Nothing” and “Your Grace”.
The two have kept working together. They followed this single with “Level Up” in November 2025, and both are featured on Only1Oni’s “Calvary Love” (May 2026). Paul CleverLee’s YouTube channel also carries a soukous remix of “Anchor of My Strength” with Gerald Bishung.

Why people are searching for it
In September 2026 we studied Google Trends data for the previous 12 months, looking at the related queries that appear alongside searches for MP3 and audio downloads in each country, as set out in our West Africa search-trends roundup. In Nigeria, “anchor of my strength” was recorded as a Breakout related query.
Google Trends uses the Breakout label when a related search grows by more than 5,000% over the chosen period, usually because very few people searched for it at the start. It measures how fast interest grew, not how many searches there were in total, and it says nothing about how good a song is.
We found no editorial coverage of this song. Many search results for it point to unofficial download sites and unofficial notation pages. We do not link to them. The official options are listed below.
