Who is behind it

Paul CleverLee’s official YouTube channel describes him as a music producer and remix engineer from Nigeria. His releases on Apple Music go back to 2018 and include many remixes and mashups as well as gospel singles. You can read more on our Paul CleverLee artist page.

Gerald Bishung is a gospel singer. In May 2025 Vanguard reported on his re-release of his 2020 single “BABA”. The report said he founded Gerald Bishung Ministries, a non-profit that spreads the Gospel through music. It also named his other songs, “Jesus Plus Nothing” and “Your Grace”.

The two have kept working together. They followed this single with “Level Up” in November 2025, and both are featured on Only1Oni’s “Calvary Love” (May 2026). Paul CleverLee’s YouTube channel also has a soukous remix of “Anchor of My Strength” with Gerald Bishung.

Why people are searching for it

In our September 2026 research we looked at Google Trends data for the past 12 months, focusing on the related queries that appear alongside searches for MP3 and audio downloads. In Nigeria, “anchor of my strength” appeared as a Breakout query.

“Breakout” is a label Google Trends gives to a related query whose search interest grew by more than 5,000% over the chosen period. It usually means that very few people searched for the phrase at the start of the period. It tells you how quickly interest grew, not how many searches there were in total. It is also no guide to what the song sounds like or how good it is.

We found no editorial coverage of this song. Many searches for it lead to download sites that host music without the artists’ permission, or to unofficial notation pages. We do not link to them. The official options are listed below.
