The editorial team is responsible for everything published on Baclivelef: the free music tools and the explanations that go with them, the creator guides, the artist profiles and song spotlights, and our reviews.
We focus on emerging African artists whose music listeners are actively searching for but whom few publications have covered yet. We find them through public search-interest data, verify each artist through their official channels and streaming profiles, and link only to official places to listen, never to unofficial download sites.
Some of our educational content was drafted with the help of AI writing tools, as our editorial policy explains. A human is responsible for what we publish. We never use AI to invent facts, quotes or reviews of music we have not heard, and song reviews are only published after a full listen.
