Who is Thy Favour?

Thy Favour’s official Audiomack profile describes him as a singer, songwriter and producer from Ghana. It gives his location as Kumasi and his label as Thy Favour Music. His official YouTube channel includes a video in which he shows how he makes his own beats and records himself. His releases on Apple Music go back to October 2023, and they include a four-track EP, PART OF ME (March 2025).

In 2026 he has also appeared as a guest on songs by other Ghanaian artists, including Nii Funny’s “SIKA” and Ashell’s “Boa Me”. You can read more on our Thy Favour artist page.

About the title

The title marks the song as the second part of “nkwa nehia”, a single Thy Favour released a month earlier, on 24 September 2025. He has not published a translation or explanation of “nkwa nehia”, and we found no official explanation from any reliable source, so we are not offering one.

Why people are searching for it

In September 2026 we studied Google Trends data for the previous 12 months, looking at the related queries that appear alongside searches for MP3 and audio downloads in each country, as set out in our West Africa search-trends roundup. In Ghana, two related queries pointed to this song: “thy favour plans” and “plans”. One of the two carried the Breakout label and the other showed a rise of 2,450%; our notes do not record which figure went with which query, so we are not assigning them.

Google Trends uses the Breakout label when a related search grows by more than 5,000% over the chosen period, usually because very few people searched for it at the start. Percentage rises work the same way. Both measure how fast interest grew, not how many searches there were in total, and neither says anything about how good a song is.
