Ghana’s state broadcaster, GBC, described Fahim Dumba as a Ghanaian content creator in a September 2025 interview piece. Apple Music lists him and Mr Blayy as the song’s lead vocalists.
“ASANA” is the only release on Mr Blayy’s Apple Music artist page, and his Audiomack profile was set up in the month the song came out. His official profiles link to accounts on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X. We have not found reputable press coverage of Mr Blayy himself, so we are not adding biographical details. Why people are searching for it
In our September 2026 research we looked at Google Trends data for the past 12 months, focusing on the related queries that appear alongside searches for MP3 and audio downloads. In Ghana, “asana” appeared as a related query with a rise of 3,250%.
Google Trends uses a percentage like this to show how much search interest in a related query grew over the chosen period. A very large rise usually means that few people searched for the phrase to begin with. It tells you how quickly interest grew, not how many searches there were in total. It is also no guide to what the song sounds like or how good it is.
