Who is behind it
76 Drums is based in Lusaka. The act’s official website describes its music as combining traditional Zambian styles, particularly Kalindula and Zamrock, with hip-hop, Afro-soul, drill and amapiano. That is how 76 Drums describes itself; we have not yet listened closely enough to comment on it. The Audiomack profile names Holy Mountain Music as the label, while the single itself carries a 76 Drums / ONErpm copyright line. ONErpm is a distribution company that delivers independent releases to streaming services.
JC Kalinks is credited as the featured artist. We have not found an official profile that would let us say more about him with confidence, so we are limiting ourselves to the credit.
Why people are searching for it
We looked at Google Trends for Zambia over the 12 months to September 2026. Among the rising related queries for music and download-related searches, “Beauty Station” was up by about 4,550%. “Rising” here means the query grew the most compared with the previous period. The figure is a relative change, not a count of people, so a song starting from almost no searches can post a very large percentage.
It is still a useful signal: more and more people in Zambia were searching for the song by name. It does not tell us about streams, sales or chart positions, and we make no claims about those. Outside download blogs, we found no press coverage of the single, which is part of why we are featuring it. Where it fits in the catalogue
Streaming services list “Big Machines” as a 76 Drums single in 2023 and an album, Fall 6 Times Rise 7 Times, in December 2024. The pace picked up in 2026. “Ipalo”, featuring Kanina Kandalama, came out in January, followed by the five-track Fastlane EP in April. “Beauty Station” arrived in July. The next single, “40 Ng’ombe” featuring Chanda Na Kay and Shanga Love, followed in September.
Collaboration is a thread through all of this. Streaming services also credit 76 Drums as a guest on other artists’ songs, including Slap Dee’s “Jahman Juice” (2025). If “Beauty Station” brings you to 76 Drums, the 2024 album and the Fastlane EP are the obvious next steps.
