Morgan Nero is a Ghanaian recording artist, songwriter and performer. His official YouTube channel describes him as a Highlife and Afrobeats artist and says his music draws on Ewe culture. On Audiomack his single “Agbozume Naomi” is listed with the location Volta, Ghana.
“Agbozume Naomi”, released in September 2025, became a Breakout search in Ghana in the year to September 2026. In May 2026 he was named Unsung Artiste of the Year at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
Career overview
Morgan Nero’s first appearance on Apple Music is as a featured artist on Greatman Zillions’ “Sugar” (April 2021). His own singles there begin in 2023 with “Caro”, “Back Side” and “Gadzame”, followed in 2024 by “Gbetor” (with Jah Phinga), “Melikpoo”, “Dzenawo”, “Biblame” (with Agbeshie) and “Rasta Money”. Many of these releases carry the ℗ line Morgan Fiakpornu or TEAM NERO MUSIC rather than an outside label.

According to Volta Today (2 May 2026) and Graphic Online (10 May 2026), he won Unsung Artiste of the Year at the 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards, a category for emerging acts. Graphic Online reported that he also performed at the ceremony. His 2026 singles include “Vovome” (April) and “Woblege” (September).
