Nelson Tivane is a singer, songwriter and composer from Mozambique. His official YouTube channel introduces him as a Mozambican singer-songwriter and also describes him as a musician, arranger and conductor.
In October 2025 he released “Mama’s Baby”, a single credited to Nelson Tivane and Makhadzi Entertainment. The following month he released his album LHAMULA, which Apple Music files under Afro-Beat.
Career overview
Before his recent solo releases, Tivane appeared as a featured artist on other people’s records. Streaming services credit him alongside Preck on the 2021 “Yaba Buluku (Remix)”, and on “Number One” from the same year. His Instagram handle and the hashtags on his YouTube uploads refer to Yaba Buluku Boyz, and Spotify lists that group’s 2022 single “Wa Kula (Extended)” on his artist page.
From 2025 he released a run of solo singles, including “Daliwe”, “Respeita o Processo”, “Babalaza” and “Aleluia Amem”, followed by “Mama’s Baby” on 17 October 2025. LHAMULA, a nine-track album, came out on 14 November 2025. Apple Music lists guest appearances on the album from Biver (“A Ma Kiss”) and Freddy da Stupid (“Lombela”).
He has kept releasing in 2026. “Tsinana” came out in May, and his YouTube channel credits Aymos on its video. “Lirhandzo” followed in September. Streaming services also list him as a guest on other artists’ tracks, including Mr. Bow’s “Lavi Wami” (2025).
