Pawaboy AB is a singer from Uganda. On his official YouTube channel he gives his name as Kasule Abdulrashid and describes himself as a singer, songwriter, dancer, choreographer and actor from Kampala. The same channel says he was formerly signed to Daddy Records, a label owned by Daddy Andre.
His 2025 single “Yandalula” became one of the fastest-rising music searches in Uganda in our September 2026 research. Galaxy FM nominated the song for Best Contemporary Urban Song at its Zzina Awards 2025–2026, and nominated Pawaboy AB for Breakthrough Artist.
Career overview
Pawaboy AB’s releases on Apple Music and Spotify go back to June 2022, when “Mwoto Fire” and “Emergency (Musawo)” came out on the same day. His 2023 single “Tuli 5 & 6”, featuring Rekoda Feelingz, carries a Daddy Records credit. He has released music almost entirely as singles, and several songs, such as “Yoono” and “Wayitirila” (both 2024), also appear in acoustic and instrumental versions.
Apple Music files most of his releases under Afro-Pop or Afro-Beat. “Yandalula” came out on 10 July 2025 with a 2Star Studios credit, and Apple Music lists him (as Abdurashid Kasule) as its composer. It was followed by “My Bebe” later in 2025 and “Nalokinga” in February 2026. His 2026 releases also include “Weetya” and “Ntaawa”, featuring Ava Peace, and he appears on Jowy Landa’s “Ntwala”.
